A Private Pension Fund is a special form of incorporation for a
non-commercial organisation for social protection whose business is regulated
by Law № 75-FZ dated 07.05.1998: Private Pension Funds.
Pursuant to that law, a Fund:
- publishes an annual report in the press about the fund’s business at least
once a year;
- annually submits its accounts to the RF Ministry of Justice, undergoes an
audit and and is subject to an actuarial assessment of its business at the end
of the financial year;
- sends quarterly reports to the RF Central Bank
- submits accounting and other special reports to the Federal Financial
Markets Service monthly, quarterly and annually;
Further, a special custody monitors the work of the Fund on a daily
basis.
As a legal entity the Fund submits on a quarterly and annual basis
accounting and tax reports to the Federal Tax Service Inspectorate, and
statistical reports to the Statistics Authority, and also reports on insurance
contributions to the Russian Federation Pension Fund and the Russian
Federation Social Insurance Fund.
